The construction of two retail furniture stores was managed using the Construction Management method by direct hiring and managing various subcontractors to do the works.

Managed a very strict budget, schedule, and high quality works reflecting the Italian quality furniture of the stores.

Various  projects were executed in structural steel, structural brick, reinforced concrete, and timber construction. The managed projects varied in size and type.

Acted as the site and Project Manager on the general contractor’s side. In charge of bidding, negotiating, contract administration, site supervision and quality control, budgeting / cost control, scheduling, and overall management.

The tenants are distinguished federal government agencies who installed intricate security, telecommunication, and interior decoration systems.

Acted as the site engineer in handling all site-related matters including both the base building construction as well as the interior tenant fit-out works.

 

The Air Rights Building, located in Bethesda, Maryland, is a renovation project that entailed the addition of a set of entrance skylights as well as the renovation of the building’s 3 entrances and its hallways and bathrooms to become in conformity with the American Disability Act.

 

 

One Cambridge Court, Falls Church, Virginia, USA

One Cambridge Court is a $25 Million 222,000 square-foot office building made up of 2 towers connected by a 95-foot glass-spired atrium and an independent parking building. It is built in structural steel with luxurious office spaces,  the lobby is decorated with classic mosaics of polished marble, tapestry art, and monumental wrought iron chandeliers.

In charge of all site engineering activities including site coordination and management, shop drawing review, subcontractors scheduling, cost engineering, quality control, and change order administration

 

 

 

Toyota/Lexus Showroom, Verdun Street, Beirut

A high luxury car showroom of 900 m² with a 1,000 m² garage in an existing building.

Managed all interior decoration works.

Coordinated the design with Toyota’s international regulations.

 

 

SGBL Bank, HDF Branch, Achrafieh

Full construction of the Societe Generale de Banque au Liban, Hotel Dieu de France branch as the General Contractor. This branch houses reception spaces, 3 tellers, 7 offices, an IT room, an electrical room, and a fortified strong room.

Complete new construction of the branch including all electro-mechanical works, security, CCTV, fire protection systems, concrete reinforcement of the slab and strong room’s walls,…

Completed the project on time, with high quality finishes in accordance with the bank’s guidelines and security requirements.

 

 

SGBL Bank, Sagesse Branch, Ashrafieh

SGBL Sagesse Branch is a branch with 5 tellers, 10 offices, a conference room, an IT room, an electrical room, a safe, and a client safe on 2 floors.

Complete and effective management that handed the project over in 3.5 months.

 

 

Unilux showroom, Jal El Dib, Lebanon

Construction Management of a three-storey IGuzzini Lighting showroom with offices. The showroom features an innovative and intricate design with very sophisticated lighting, EIB, and electrical systems.

 

 

 

The Delhamieh Development, Lebanon

The Delhamieh Development is a 4-million m² stretch of raw land studied to be developed into a multi-use project that contains an 18-hole golf course in a country club setting, a shopping mall, schools, a town center, two 5-star hotels, a marina, and the subdivision of around 1,000 plots of land for sale, with the associated infrastructure system.

Interviewed 8 architectural and urban planning design firms from the United States who priced the project’s design. Carried out negotiations until a contract was awarded to the international firm RTKL out of Washington DC and Desmond Murhead out of Montreal for the golf course design. Coordinated and reviewed the land’s slopes, views, and dispositions to produce different options and set-ups of the various components of the project.
